    <title>Introducing Koblog</title>
    <link rel="alternate" href="https://koblog.org/introducing-koblog"/>
    <link rel="enclosure" url="" length="4096" type="directory"/>
    <summary>Hello ! Welcome to Koblog !
Koblog is a simple flat-file blog engine, forked from bludit. I originally forked it because I needed a blog engine suited for my purpose, and if bludit was nice, I had some specific need for my blogs… and it became its own engine with time ! At the time I forked bludit, nearly a year ago, it wasn't very active, and I was a bit afraid it would be abandonned, and there were some feature I wanted. So I tried my hand into modifying it to suit my purpose and taste. I added some feature like pronouns, some social networks I used… and it slowly became more.
Since, bludit have regain developpement, but using some AI-tools, and I'd rather have no AI-generated code in my personnal websites. As the web become more and more filled with slop and generated stuff, I really want to participate into making the web more inviting to people, less cold and automated. There are a lot of reason to avoid AI :

AI use a lot of resources, especially energy and water. Climate change and environnemental destruction are already endangering all of us, especially underprivileged people. AI, by using a lot of resources, will make all that worse.
AI is based on massive work theft, especially code and arts. A lot of people have got their work reused without permission to "train" the AI to do like them. At a time where artists often aren't paid enough, pillaging their work to replace them will make their situation worse. Same for many of the code pillaged, which often was by open-source devs that aren't paid for all their work. All that to try to make some rich corporation richer.
AI aim to put the whole idea of creating under a paywall. It aim to privatize the capacity of creating our own stuff, instead of the democratisation that would be making tools and knowledge more accessible by paying for education and knowledge access.

So here is koblog ! It's name is a pun on kobold and blogs. It's goal is to create a personnal weblog engine, that'll be usable by people that just want a simple, nice blog. It's really dedicated to the need of persons, and have no AI-tools integrated. It also aims to be fun and whimsical, maybe even a bit of a toy !
Have fun if you want to use Koblog !</summary>
